City Site Chancel Choir

We of the New Life United Methodist Church City Site call ourselves the “Keystone Choir” which should have some religious meaning, but in fact it is because we often feel like the Keystone Cops of the silent film era.  We chase around, change directions, and never know exactly what we will sing during Sunday morning services.  Our rule is that it is OK if we get a note wrong as long as everyone sings it the same way.  We adapt as we go along, in fact, we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to just about anything.  (We’ve even changed our anthem mid service!)  With some exceptions for special occasions (Sunday School Programs or Women’s Sunday), we sing a call to worship, an anthem and a benediction each week from the Sunday after Labor Day to the Sunday before Memorial Day.

We are an SATB choir, meaning we sing in four parts, soprano, alto, tenor and bass,

We at 8:30 a.m. before church services.  Besides our regular Sunday services, we sing on Christmas Eve, for Lenten Services as required, as well as having an Advent Concert in December.

For information about the choir, contact the church office at 920/833-7308.  We welcome new members!
