Children’s Time is not only the kids’ favorite part of the traditional church service, but some of the adult’s favorite as well!  Early in the service each week, a volunteer asks all the children to come forward for a faith based story or lesson,  Not only does everyone get a very understandable lesson, but the comments that come out of the mouths of the children can be just as enlightening at times.

Sitting on the steps with the children, telling them a story, is not nearly as scary as standing at the lectern, talking to the adults!  Children’s Time is always looking for new volunteers to bring fresh, fun ideas to this ministry.  There are many different websites and resources available to help the volunteers come up with these lessons.  Many also make them up themselves, or use real life experiences to teach to this vital part of our church family.

If you are interested in volunteering, just let the church office know and they will put you on the calendar.  Or if you just want to try it one time, that’s fine too!  Contact the church office at 920/833-7308 for more information.
