Mark received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1984 where he excelled in painting and drawing. His seminary training was at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. It was there that he received my Masters of Divinity degree in 1988. During his time in seminary Mark did his internship in Belfast Northern Ireland (86-87) where he worked in youth and children’s ministries with the Methodist Church in Ireland. It was there that he learned a great deal about the history of the conflict there, as well as peace and justice issues.
Mark began serving in Wisconsin in 1988. He is married and has two children.
Deanna is a Seymour native. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Microbiology. She is married with two children. Deanna has been with the church since October 2013. She makes barn quilts and watches a lot of soccer in her spare time.
